Carveboard surf stik vs. sector 9 sidewinder series?
i am experienced in longboarding and i have done the whole bomb hill thing but i am tired of going in a straight line. i want a board that can truly carve. i have an original skateboard and i know they can carve but i miss bushings. even though the carveboard has springs, it looks so fun. the sector 9 has bushings which is nice but i don’t know. i cant make up my mind. im in for truly ripping it around a corner. i love to surf/ snowboard so thats why the carveboard is looking good but help me!!!!!
Well I own a sector 9 sidewinder and have ridden a carveboard stick. I prefer the sector 9 because it has a better feel for it. The carveboard is awesome, but the spring trucks just feel a little weird. It is really fun though because you can get down low and grab the rails and whip around a turn tighter than you could do on any longboard. It is sick.
This is only my opinion though. If you can find both of them to try out and see which one you prefer that would be great. I just like the sector 9 a lot better for the feel. They are both great boards.
